The cottage, situated in a conservation area, dates from 1765 and offers a relaxing and tranquil holiday setting away from the hustle and bustle of today’s life. The cottage accommodates up to 6 people, has a spacious lounge, dining room, two toilets and well equipped kitchen . Steeped in history and part of the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site, this beautiful cottage was once a local lead miner’s home housing two families upstairs and animals downstairs. It has been carefully refurbished to a high standard without spoiling the immense charm of its character. Within a couple of minutes’ walk there is a children’s park, local shops, two pubs, cafes and a restaurant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
